I came across a great article today on how to decrease your toxic load while you’re pregnant. Grist has posted an article called “What to Inspect When You’re Expecting” with 10 easy steps to take to help ensure your child grows up healthy.
The steps for a healthy pregnancy are all no-nonsense, and they provide alternatives to the things you should avoid. Some of the tips are not new to Toxic Nation readers – avoid pesticides and insecticides.
My personal favourite tip, however, is “be unapologetically picky.” Use pregnancy as a great excuse for yourself and your family to demand cleaner products, and avoid toxics.

Have you made any changes while you were pregnant? Tell me what they are, and share your advice with other readers. Post a comment here or email me at info@toxicnation.ca
