Our Staff

Hasanika is a graduate of the Community Worker Program at George Brown College. Her personal, professional and academic background showcase a passion for community-based activism and engagement. With a strong background in the arts, Hasanika brings a unique perspective and creative approach to her work at Environmental Defence Canada. Most recently, Hasanika worked at the Toronto Arts Foundation where she was lucky enough to work with organizations across Toronto to bring quality, barrier-free arts programs to communities across the GTA. Hasanika is excited to combine her experience in the arts and her passion for sustainability to drive impactful initiatives that promote environmental awareness and action across Ontario.
