Felix Mills
Engagement Manager
Felix is passionate about the wellbeing of Canada’s lands, waters, and communities. He enjoys connecting to nature through backcountry camping, canoeing, cycling, hiking, gardening, and meditation. As a musician, specializing in drums and percussion, Felix also studies and expresses nature’s interconnectedness, and the systems and stories of various music cultures. Felix has experience in engaging different communities and audiences in diverse issue areas, from combating food insecurity and urban food waste at Not Far From The Tree, to delivering arts programming to underserved areas at Toronto Arts Foundation, presenting intercultural music experiences at Soundstreams, and working on making cities green, more livable and prosperous at Evergreen. At the heart of all his work has been bringing people together around shared experiences and shared causes, and putting equal value in traditional knowledge, scientific innovation, and government and community action. He is thrilled to now be a deeper part of the critical cause of protecting people and the planet through climate action.
