Ottawa, Ont. – The Government of Quebec showed true leadership today by rejecting a new fracked gas export project, GNL Quebec. The International Energy Agency was clear: there is no room for new oil or gas developments in a climate-safe future. There are at least 20 other fossil fuel projects under consideration for approval across Canada. All levels of governments in Canada should follow Quebec’s lead and reject these projects.
