Hanlan's Point Beach, Toronto

Sandy beach on the western shore of Toronto Island with a great view of the City. Very peaceful and rustic. This is a CLOTHING OPTIONAL beach. Lifeguarded daily from 11:30 to 18:30, with first aid equipment on site. Bordered by vegetated sand dunes. Take the Hanlan''s Point ferry from Mainland Ferry Terminal and follow the signs to the beach. Descriptions of sand dune ecology posted.
