Ian Carey,
Field Organizer

A graduate of the University of Toronto's Environment and Society program Ian Carey has taken a special interest in how people view themselves in relation to the environment.   Ian worked for numerous environmental and social justice organizations across Canada before joining Environmental Defence as a Field Organizer.
Since starting at Environmental Defence Ian has worked primarily on climate campaigns involving the Alberta Tar Sands as well as provincial campaigns to support and promote Ontario's Green Energy Act.
Ian manages Environmental Defence's outreach team which helps to garner support for various Environmental Defence Campaigns.
