Our Staff

Originally from Montreal, Sam has been based in Ottawa since 2016 when he moved there to pursue his Master’s degree in Political Management at Carleton University. Since then, he has been involved in several electoral and issue-based campaigns. Outside of electoral politics, He has also been involved in different movements that support social, environmental, and economic justice fighting for systemic change at all levels of government. Sam is a passionate advocate for improving active transportation and public transit, having previously worked for the Amalgamated Transit Union as a Communications Officer, at Ottawa City Hall and involved in the foundation and growth of several other local organizations in Ottawa that push for building better and more sustainable cities like Horizon Ottawa. During his off time, Sam likes running, swimming and community organizing.
