Norm has been fighting for over a decade for the place in Toronto he loves most: its waterfront. Norm started his waterfront advocacy through NoJetsTO, where he worked his way up to chair, ultimately winning the jet fight in 2015. After that victory, Norm served as a founding member of waterfront advocacy group Waterfront for All, and then as a founding member and past co-chair of Ontario Place for All. Norm was a School Board Trustee from 2018 to 2022, where he championed equity and student nutrition.
