Michael Adamson
Program Manager, Clean Steel
Michael grew up in Cambridge, Ontario, where he spent much of his childhood exploring the outdoors. His affinity for the natural world, and his desire to protect it, has guided his studies and career. He holds a B.A. in Environment and Development from McGill University and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, where he focused on the intersection of political economy and environmental policy. He has worked in international development, higher education, and, most recently, in climate advocacy to strengthen energy and climate policy in Ontario. Michael draws on this background in political economy, policy, and advocacy in his work. Now based in Montreal, you can often find him on the tennis court, at a local microbrewery, or strolling up Mount Royal appreciating the trees.
