Our Staff

Karishma is a storyteller, sharing her passion for environmental issues on her social media page through fairytales and skits. She has always felt close to the natural world. from her childhood on the Malwa Plateau in India to the beautiful Grand River Valley, which she now calls home. She has her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School and her Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University, where she learned to communicate sustainability initiatives to a variety of different stakeholders. Karishma is thrilled to join Environmental Defence to continue to advocate for people and the planet. In her spare time, you can find Karishma spending time in her vegetable garden, writing poetry, and learning how to roller skate.
