About the Notice of Application:

This is an application for judicial review in respect of the failure of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to properly report progress on a Public Participation investigation of environmental violations committed by Volkswagen related to its emissions scandal, which was requested by Environmental Defence staff under s. 17 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) in 2017.
