About The Letter:
In this joint letter, we join civil society organizations concerned with environment and health, calling on the federal government to place Bill C-28 on the House agenda for debate at the earliest opportunity and to work with the House Leaders of other parties to enable a vote at second reading before World Environment Day, June 5, 2021. Parliament has been slow to act on the committee’s core recommendations, and it has now been more than two decades since CEPA entered into force.
