Meet Your Regional Coordinator

Kathleen is a community builder and facilitator with a background working and volunteering in community development, food security and restorative justice.

A recent graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University’s Social Justice and Community Engagement master’s program, Kathleen has a passion for collaborative community projects that address environmental and social issues.

She loves meeting new people through Reconnection Project events and, in the process, loves being inspired by how people across Waterloo Region get involved in, enjoy and care for nature, and care for each other.

Kathleen’s three favourite ways to enjoy nature are walking her neighbourhood trails, reading a book in a park and growing vegetables in her community garden. You can often find Kathleen trying out new restaurants and enjoying local events around Waterloo Region.
