Living in Ajax for over 15 years, Brennan maintains a strong connection to the landscapes and communities of Durham Region. Brennan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Environmental Studies from Trent University and a Master’s degree in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo. Through his studies, he developed a deep respect for Indigenous knowledge systems and traditional relationships with the natural environment, which continue to shape his perspective of the land in Durham. He works in the renewable energy sector, and believes meaningful climate solutions are rooted in both strong policy and practical, community-centred implementation. Outside of his professional work, he is a sci-fi entertainment critic with a particular love for iconic franchises such as Star Wars and Blade Runner.
