Deanna was born and raised in Hamilton, and has spent many hours exploring the escarpment, the waterfront, and everything in between. She has worked in the environmental non-profit sector in urban agriculture for ten years, and holds a Master's degree in Urban and International Development. One of her favourite things is growing fresh, healthy food with other people and fostering connections with the natural world. Deanna's climate advocacy is informed by a lens of curiosity and empowerment. She loves helping people feel excited about what kind of future is possible. In her free time, Deanna can be found looking up interesting seeds, working her way through the Bruce Trail with her son and husband, and swimming at the local pool.
