Reena Sandhu
Dr. Sandhu is a board certified toxicologist and President of SafeDose Ltd, a chemical safety consultancy in Oakville, Ontario. Over the last 25 years, she has helped governments, non-profits and industry assess the safety of hundreds of chemicals in our air, water, food, consumer products and pharmaceuticals. These days, she spends most of her time helping other toxicologists find ways to conduct their safety assessments more reproducibly and objectively. She is also involved in international efforts to develop better ways to assess the risks associated with our exposure to chemicals that have little or no data. Reena is passionate about finding ways to reduce the global burden of human disease caused by our exposure to hazardous chemicals.
