Kevin Cooper is an advocacy and fundraising professional who has spent his career expanding the power and effectiveness of environmental and labour organizations throughout North America. He presently serves as the Vice President for Community & Legacy Giving at WWF-Canada, helping to raise the funds necessary to protect at-risk species and habitats across Canada. Prior to this, he served as National Political Director for the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and Deputy Political Director for the Communications Workers of America (CWA) – two of the largest labour unions in North America – and also had the honour of serving as Deputy Political Director for the historic Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign in the United States. Kevin hails from the Chicagoland area of Illinois and spent 14 years residing in Washington, D.C. before relocating with his spouse to Toronto – a city that they have long loved and are proud to now call home.
