Alex Chamberlain is a Managing Partner at InvestEco Capital, a venture capital firm and impact investor that is focused on expansion stage companies that promote health and sustainability in the food & agriculture sector. Prior to InvestEco, Alex practiced law at Smith Lyons (now Gowlings) and worked in the Corporate Finance & Investment Banking Group at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Securities. Alex has sat on a number of portfolio company boards and is currently a director of LesserEvil and Chickapea, and a board observer of Sol Cuisine and The Jackfruit Company. Alex is also Vice Chair and Treasurer of Scout Environmental, another of Canada’s leading environmental not-for-profit organizations. In addition to his law degree, Alex has his MBA and is a CFA charterholder. A lover of nature and the great outdoors, Alex is happiest when paddling Northern Ontario’s lakes and rivers with his wife and any of their four children that are willing to join them.
