About The Submission:
Environmental Defence along with other environmental and civil society organizations have come together to advocate for social justice and equity, environmental protection, and public health. In this submission to the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development, we are urging committee members to prioritize and expedite Bill C-226, Canada’s first environmental racism law.
