About The Submission:
A group of environmental organizations have come together to provide strategic comments on OSFI’s draft Guideline B-15: Climate Risk Management including assessing opportunities for the financial sector to align with climate action. Our coalition recommends that OSFI considers double materiality and systemic risk, makes enforceable regulations rather than flexible guidance, and ensures financial institutions align their business strategy with limiting global warming below 1.5C.
