Submission to Minister of Energy On OEB Decision Supporting Affordability for New Homebuyers

The Ontario Energy Board (“OEB”) has made the decision to end the subsidy for methane gas pipelines in new residential developments. Ending the subsidy would greatly improve affordability for Ontario homebuyers. In the words of the OEB, it would be a “win for homebuyers.” We are asking the Minister of Energy to reconsider the plan to override this positive decision with legislation.
