About the letter:
In a recent interview, Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources misrepresented Environmental Defence’s Fossil Funding 2024 report, and our evidence-based perspective on carbon capture and storage, as false. In this submission, we have compiled our responses to debunk Minister Wilkinson’s inaccuracies and set the record straight on the federal government’s ongoing support to Canada’s fossil fuel industry.
