Martin has more than 20 years of experience in financial and environmental analysis working in a diverse range of industries. He is a former RIA board member, and frequent public speaker on ESG issues. In addition to the portfolios he manages, Martin provides input on sustainability and ESG issues across the AGF investment teams. Martin obtained his BA from the University of Toronto, MES from York University, and MBA from the Schulich School of Business and NIMBAS.
Toby spearheaded the first global ranking of the world’s 100 most sustainable corporations in 2005, and in 2007 coined the term “clean capitalism.” He sits on the Sustainability Accounting Standards Advisory Board and the University of Toronto’s Environment and Finance Committee. He also is a director at Ashoka Canada. Toby has been published in the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and the Globe and Mail, and is a regular guest speaker on CBC.
Francisca has over 20 years experience working with leading companies and investors specializing in climate change and sustainability strategies. She advises clients on how to embed sustainability into core business strategies and report on achievements. Francisca advised the FTSE Index Group on climate change criteria in the development of the FTSE4Good index and GRESB in its real asset sustainability assessments. She is a “Clean50” honouree and board member of No. 9 Contemporary Art & the Environment.
In addition to providing the strategic vision for JCM Capital, Christian focuses on the evaluation and approval of investment opportunities, building and maintaining strategic partnerships and financing aspects of the business. From his previous experience, he brings an in-depth knowledge of the solar industry. Christian is a graduate of University of Toronto (B.Comm.) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant having worked in the Toronto and UK offices for PwC in their Banking and Capital Markets Group.
