TORONTO, ON – On Wednesday, March 8, hundreds of Dim Sum lovers will gather at Toronto’s City Hall for the first ever Sustainable Dim Sum – A Tasty Evening with a Conscience.

Attendees will be able to sample various mouth-watering dim sum dishes created by some of the city’s best chefs with only local and sustainably sourced ingredients, and paired with drinks made by local and/or sustainable alcohol partners. Proceeds from the event will go to support Environmental Defence, a national environmental charity dedicated to protecting local food and water sources.

WHAT: Sustainable Dim Sum is a first-of-its-kind event in Toronto that asks chefs to showcase their talents by creating dim sum dishes with only local and sustainable ingredients. All proceeds go to Environmental Defence.
