Toronto, ON – The conversation about how to build liveable, economically vibrant, and environmentally sustainable communities will be front and centre at ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENCE’s Annual Gala tonight.

During the event, former Toronto Mayor David Crombie will unravel the myths and realities surrounding smart urban growth. Singer-songwriter, Suzanne Jarvie will also perform.

WHAT: ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENCE’S Annual Gala is a fundraising event that brings together representatives from industry, labour, government and the charitable sector to celebrate and  support Environmental Defence’s work to protect sources of drinking water and local food, reduce Canadians’ exposure to toxic chemicals, and promote a clean economy.
