ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENCE (environmentaldefence.ca): Environmental Defence is Canada’s most effective environmental action organization. We challenge, and inspire change in government, business and people to ensure a greener, healthier and prosperous life for all.
ABOUT THE JUST BEAUTIFUL CAMPAIGN: The Just Beautiful Campaign educates Canadians about the harmful chemicals that can be found in their personal care products and shows ways to reduce that pollution. We are calling upon the cosmetics industry to remove known-to-be-harmful ingredients from their products and fully disclose what’s in their products that are available for purchase. We are also working with cosmetics companies on safer alternatives.
