Bisphenol A is on the menu this morning. On the subway, in day cares and homes across Ontario babies are innocently drinking from toxic plastic baby bottles. Virtually all hard plastic baby bottles on the market today contain Bisphenol A. This chemical is a suspected hormone disruptor associated with numerous adverse health effects.
Children are most vulnerable. We are asking the government to take action now to ban Bisphenol A in baby bottles!
We thought the best way to get our message across to Queen’s Park is to throw a party for babies and their parents. We are bringing music (Sho, Mo and the Monkey Bunch!), kids, hot apple cider and cookies to the steps of the Ontario legislature on Tuesday, November 20 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Studies show that Bisphenol A migrates from the lining of food and drink containers. Based on this and other scientific evidence showing the risks of exposure to Bisphenol A, Ontario’s government should phase out the use of Bisphenol A in baby bottles and other consumer products.
Join us for this important rally! Invite your friends and family. Let’s get the government to act now!
