Well, after 24 days of beachy ideas, we've decided to try a few for ourselves. Tomorrow, we'll celebrate 25 Days of Summer with our Blue Flag Beach Bonanza. If you're in the GTA, join us for free stand up paddle boarding (SUP) lessons, sand castle building competitions (judged by the Minister of the Environment), and free evening yoga on the beach. We might even crack out the beach volleyball, and some water games. And we’ll definitely be swimming!
We're not just celebrating a warm Canadian summer (though it is a rare jewel to be cherished!)… This year, the Blue Flag turns 25. That's 25 years of communities working together for better beaches and cleaner shorelines, all over the world.
We'll be on Ward's Island beach tomorrow, from 1-7pm. Come out and help us celebrate 25 amazing years of Blue Flag Beaches, and join in the fun!
