Staying on course in the October election

We also want to record their responses and publicize the results to help educate voters about the promises. We need your help to have an impact!

Pint sized politico reminds us to vote for her future

Environmental Defence has launched Penelope4Ontario.ca, a non-partisan campaign centred on Penelope, an eight-year-old girl. Though she's under 5 feet, she's asking some big questions.

She's calling on party leaders to strengthen their commitments to protecting our environment and her future. And, she's asking Ontarians to vote for her future on October 6th.

Please visit Penelope4Ontario.ca to watch her video, make your pledge for the environment this October and see she what she thinks about where the parties stand on the issues.

Get your voting thumbs ready!

How do you stretch summer out until you can't stretch it any more? You capture a picture (or two hundred) of Canada's stunning beaches and share it with all of your friends in the 'Life's a Beach!' photo contest. Turns out that there's a lot of photogenic beaches and people in Canada. So many, that we had a hard time picking just one photo! And that means, we need your help.

We're posting out top 20 picks to facebook, and it's your turn to vote for who you want to win a Digital SLR! 'Like' your favourite photo to vote! It's (almost) as easy as bumming it on the beach. Voting closes at Midnight on Friday September 23, 2011.
