Pipeline Incidents January 2010-June 2011

Oil pipelines cross Canada’s most cherished rivers, forests and farmlands and run through the backyard of thousands of Canadians. Spills can and do happen, and the number of safety incidents has been on the rise over the past decade. This map demonstrates the number of pipeline incidents in each province since January 2010.
