In association with Young Reporters for the Environment and Wrigley Company Foundation, we’re excited to join 14 other countries in launching the inaugural year of the ‘Litter Less’ Competition!

The Litter Less Competition aims to engage and educate Canadian youth on the issues of litter and to encourage them to make positive choices.

How does it work?

Litter Less is open to youth aged 12-18 years old through their school or student group. Participants will act to reduce litter (e.g. carrying out clean up days or creating an art installation to promote anti-littering), and will write an article, capture a photo or take video and share their experiences with other participating countries on the Litter Less Competition website. A winner will be selected in each category (writing, photography, and film) to win a laptop, a digital SLR, or a camcorder!

NEW prize: all-expenses paid international mission to Copenhagen this October for teacher and students! E-mail us for more info.
