Safeguarding Canada's Water

Water is not just a part of our landscape. We need clean water to drink, to grow our food and to support fish and other aquatic animals.

Environmental Defence is educating people about the need for safer, cleaner water—and the steps Canada can take to protect its Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River, which hold 20 per cent of the world's freshwater.

We're educating people about the need for safer, cleaner water—and the steps Ontario can take to protect its Great Lakes.
