Good Green Jobs

Time for Green Jobs.

It's time to green our economy.

Too many people say we must choose between good jobs and a clean environment. But this is a false choice. In order to reduce pollution and create sustainable job growth, we must have both.

The good news is that solutions exist today. We can create good jobs across the country by making renewable energy, using energy more efficiently and building more transit to fight traffic. And, this would also help reduce global warming pollution.

Blue Green Canada was formed in 2008 by a strategic alliance between the United Steelworkers and Environmental Defence. In 2012, we were joined by the Communications, Energy and Paper Workers Union of Canada (CEP), the Columbia Institute, the Pembina Institute and Tides Canada.

We recognize that our economy must provide good jobs and protect the environment.
