Canada's Next Green Journalist is an excellent fit for a number of classroom subjects, including:
- Geography English and Writer's Craft
- Science
- Social Studies
- Art or Media Studies
A great way to bring Canada's Next Green Journalist into the classroom is by using our Young Reporters Handbooks which can be used for a shorter lesson plan, or for a culminating project. You can also adapt or integrate Young Reporters with existing classroom content, or use it as a platform to discuss and research environmental issues such as climate change, water issues and energy.
