The Tar Sands are turning Canada into the world’s dirty energy superpower. Tar Sands operations spew out toxic chemical pollution and greenhouse gases, which cause climate change.

It doesn’t have to be this way. There are ways to curb the damage being done by the Tar Sands. Yet the federal government has so far failed to get industry to clean up.
