If you need to cool off and experience something new this summer, try skimming along the surface of the clean water at a Blue Flag beach. There is much more to do at the beach than sit in the sun, so suit up and head out for a windsurfing adventure.

Wasaga Beach offers exceptional windsurfing conditions. On stormy days, Georgian Bay kicks up some big waves for those wanting a more extreme windsurfing experience. Accessible by TTC and protected by the beautiful Tommy Thompson Park, Cherry Beach is the choice location of Toronto Windsurfing Club for a reason! They offer professional instruction and lessons for ages 8-18. For serious windsurfers, they hold free races every Wednesday night until September, followed by a barbecue. Who could say no?
