Want to train on the sand rather than hard concrete? Take advantage of Wasaga Beach, the world’s longest fresh-water beach. With 14 kilometers of beach to run on, you are sure to get in a great workout. Cool down afterwards with a refreshing dip in Georgian Bay.
 
Take in the scenery of Canada’s 6th largest Lake and run along the shores of Grand Beach on Lake Winnipeg. Enjoy cruising past 12 meter high sand dunes before dipping in to one of Canada’s most beautiful lakes for a refreshing cool down.
