Ottawa, ON- Tomorrow a report will be tabled by Canada’s Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development, Office of the Auditor General, assessing how the federal government has delivered on protecting Canadians from toxic chemicals in everyday products.

For years, Environmental Defence has conducted research on toxics in consumer products, finding heavy metals in popular cosmetics, endocrine disrupting (hormone disrupting) chemicals in fragrances and men’s personal care products, and air pollutants in cleaning products.

Environmental Defence spokespeople will be available to comment on Tuesday on the report from the Auditor General’s office.
