SKEGNESS and its neighbouring beaches have proved they are still some of the best in the world having recorded the highest water quality possible once again.

The Environment Agency has reported all eight beaches in Lincolnshire are eligible to retain their prestigious Blue Flag status which is an international quality mark for beaches.
Beaches in Anderby Creek, Huttoft, Ingoldmells and Chapel St Leonards also reached the water quality benchmark.
To get Blue Flag status other criteria must be met such as cleanliness standards and beach management.
The EA monitors water quality by taking 20 samples from each beach between May 1 and September 30 each
